Feature: Voices for a United America
George Naylor
Churdan, IA
George Naylor makes his living growing and harvesting corn and soybeans on his family farm in Churdan, Iowa. He doesn’t use migrant labor. He doesn’t need to. But he has a lot of empathy for migrant laborers. In his eyes, American family farmers and immigrants — many of whom were forced off their own farms in rural Mexico — have something in common: both are victims of poor governance.
